Can you smell that crisp autumn air? Yeah, I can’t either cause it’s still HOT AF everywhere but we fashionistas are preparing for Fall Fashion. Yes, the best dressing time of the year. Even though I now live in Florida and my Fall is going to look a lot different, I am still planning on showcasing the 2022 Fall Fashion trends that I love and want to wear.
Today, I start with one of the easiest of the 2022 Fall Fashion trends to try and that is the oversized button-down shirt. I mean I’m sure you already have one in your closet and if you don’t this is the perfect item to thrift. Head to the men’s section and buy one a couple of sizes larger and BOOM!

The outfit I currently have on is not a fall one, I know. But like I said it’s still hot AF and I am not about to melt (yet) for fashion. Give me a week when my new Fall fashions arrive, I’ll shoot them and show you. But for now… this is my offering.
Ways to Style this 2022 Fall Fashion Trend
Because the top is so voluminous, I highly suggest remembering the rule of balancing proportions, here is a quick video in case you forgot. This is when you wear something more fitted on the bottom. If you want to rock the baggier fit bottoms that are also a 2022 Fall Fashion trend, you can rock the button-down open like a jacket and wear something fitted underneath. I personally suggest one of these bodysuits because they are a favorite and so comfy!
You can also tuck it into baggier pants but I think if your goal is to be “on trend”, then rocking it loose is the way to go.
