Ok so Im a Baltimorian and DC -ist. I spend equal amount of time in both places and although so close distance wise, the culture, vibe, people and style are worlds apart. Regardless I love them both and am glad that I can have a foot in each. While searching the world wide web, I realized that Baltimore really has no fashion presence at all but yet when I go out, I see some impeccably dressed individuals and some pretty awesome street style. Because of this, I wanted to offer a spotlight on some Baltimore people, things and places that caught my eye and stimulated my fashion senses.
My first featured style maven is Ms. Taliah of the successful blog Fashion Was Here. I met Taliah first in DC and she is honestly sweet and sassy like her style. She is a self proclaimed lover of vintage and unlike many other who cram “vintage” down our throats, this chic charm city resident does it in a modern and totally appealing way. She showcases a wide range of outfits and is phenomenal at showing her versatility but yet keeping it real. I highlighted 2 recent outfits of hers that I would totally rock and when it comes to personal style blogs, I tend to gravitate towards the ones that I could easily see myself wearing the same outfit tip to toe. I am not exaggerating when I say I would wear pretty much any and everything Taliah rocks on her blog. Certainly check it out and let me know if you feel the same. She is down to earth and it shows in her garment choices and
that is what I adore oh so much!
Thank you Taliah for being part of the Inaugural Edition of Baltimore A la Mode!
I plan on doing videos, interviews, street style shots etc during this showcase so if you know of anyone who would be amazing to feature, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you so much again for reading, commenting and engaging with me. Love you all!!!!
