Baltimore and Crofton Kind of Weekend

Labor day is our sign that summer is officially over and even though I dont celebrate holidays with the most fervor, I still love a great stay-cation doing all the things I enjoy. We partook in the routine BBQ of course, played football, visited friends, ate bad for us but oh so yummy food, imbibed a bit on adult beverages and of course took pictures!
This labor day I indulged in all my favorite F’s and can now go back to the work week feeling refreshed and energized! Aaahhhhhhh!
Here are a few pictures of all my adventures this weekend with some snippets of the outfit posts that Sig and I shot over in some peculiar locales. Hope you enjoy and please do not be afraid to offer feedback as I love to grow and engage with you all!

Notice anything a tad different? My 6 year old stepson inspired me to turn my shirt backwards. He was in a hurry one day to rush out of the house and threw his clothes, well shorts on backwards. He knew they were on backwards but alas he is a 6 year old in a hurry and said “Ill fix them later” lol. Any parent can relate to this and I love the innocence and comedy that comes with children.
But he had my mind spinning!
You can find inspiration from everywhere and well I decided to rock my tank top on backwards as well! Thanks 2 Cent for always keeping things fresh for me. Love that boy to death!

Two of my best friends in one picture! My BF counts as both also 🙂
After being sent the bottle by Smoke Liquers a few months back, I finally found the proper occasion to pop the top and taste it with my friends new and old. I love being around my Midwestern girls, its hard to explain but we really are a different breed and yes I am partial lol! Getting back to the Smoke drink though, its pretty amazingly good and I think everyone should try it out. It is a mix of moscato and vodka with a hint of coconut. I am far from a liquer connoisseur but it went down smooth and no hangover the next day! I will certainly be looking for a new bottle in the local stores since they have launched in this area! Check it out and let me know what you thought!!!
Veggies to go on the grill at Lori’s house and if it were not for my bf Louis, we would have had super “cajun” style vegetables because we (the girls) completely forgot about them on the deck. Luckily they came out ok and we indulged. Oh and “cajun style” is my way of saying I burned something. Louis has nicknamed me “Miss Crispy” bc I have a tendency to forget things in the oven.. Le Sigh!
after months of being in front of his camera, I was able to FINALLY get some shots of my photographer Sig of Flash Bang Photography! Then of course I did my best to post process them in a way that fit how I see him and how I think he would envision himself!
Stella Artois can do no wrong and this new Cidre (cider) of theirs is a huge YES! Perfect for those who do not like the taste of beer or alcohol but still love a great cider.

the remains/ruins from a monastery from the 1800s near my BF’s home in Baltimore. This was in the Patapsco National Park near Ellicott City and it really is magnificent!
I was drenched in sweat… it was a HIKE to find it!
As you may know I am in the process of building a new website and hopefully launching it this year sometime. As much as I love fashion, my interests have grown as I have and am going to gear myself more towards the lifestyle realm of things. I also believe that the days of “personal style” solely blogs are fleeting and for me this is a business as well as a hobby so I must constantly evolve!
Thank you for making it this far and I look forward to hearing your comments on my pictures as well as my post processing… I am still VERY new to Lightroom, Photoshop, and PSE
but am loving learning them and creating images to my liking!!! 🙂
