Baltimore Magazine’s Best of Baltimore 2015

The Hippodrome. Baltimore’s Glitteratti. Vegas Themed Party. Delicious Food. Signature Cocktails. Charm City.

That pretty much sums up my fantastic night celebrating the winners of Baltimore Magazine’s Best of Baltimore 2015 issue at the illustrious Hippodrome Theatre in downtown Baltimore. And everyone featured truly was the best of the best. Many of my favorite restaurants were present with yummy samples of their dishes and I got a taste of why these are the go-to spots for dining in Charm City. For the longest time, I was a die=hard fan of the bread pudding at The Food Market in Hampden but after last night, City Cafe has hit me with Cupid’s bow and I am in love!

Although I knew about the event for weeks, I still had no clue what I was going to wear. Because I dress for my mood, I do not like to pre plan outfits. About one hour before I needed to start prepping, the idea for a Jenna Lyons meets Esther Quek outfit came to mind and I chose this satin tuxedo skirt with a sleeveless collared shirt left unbuttoned and of course my favorite breastplate necklace. My style is pretty simple but I always look statement pieces to lend some personality. All in all, I was very pleased with how my last minute ensemble came out!

The hippodrome was turned into a festive Vegas casino and Horseshoe Casino was present with tons of fun “gambling” games for attendants to try out. There were magicians. Black Jack. Roulette, Poker… you name it! I even won a gift certificate at Horseshoe and I cannot wait to go straight to Guy Fieri’s restaurant there and get my fave crap appetizers! Ahhh my mouth is salivating already!

I attended with another top baltimore blogger, DeAnna of The Pretty Girls Guide and I can without a doubt say we were the perfect duo. I had an absolute blast and cannot wait until Best of Baltimore 2016!
