Hey all-
Event number 1 of my busy but stylish week began with a bang at Krystin of Be Loud Be You’s Happy Hour at the ultra swanky Bar Code. I asked my fave makeup artist, Dee to come with me because I wanted all my fabulous blogger friends to meet her and hopefully utilize her in some upcoming shoots. Her and I came a long way to this point but I am so incredibly happy that we did. Out with the old and with the fabulous! This girl is truly the Degas (my fave painter) of cosmetics and everyone should use her before she gets so big that we cant get an appointment to save our lives. Contact her at Makeup by Dee Of course the minute everyone knew her specialty the questions started flying from “what concealer should I use” to “Do I really need special brushes” and she answered each with the ease of a true professional.
The minute we got to 17th st NW we were graced by the parking gods with a rock star VIP spot right in front of Bar Code but then realized that if its too easy there is a reason why…. grrr parking by phone is ridic and takes FOREVER to register! After 5 minutes we were able to walk in and were instantly greeted by the elite of the DC Fashion blogging world. I was so excited to see Keri of Diva State of Mind, Naseya of Seventh District, Krystin of Be Loud Be You, Shahida of Social Butterfly Flying, Morgan of Day of Major, Chyanne of Yuppie Lady, Sai of Because I am Fabulous, Jasmine of WebHauteJas, Katharine of La Petite Marmoset and last but certainly not least Brea of What I Wore Tip to Toe.
So I am sure you are thinking be done with the rambling Jen and get on with the pictures….. so here ya go!!!
