Hey all-
I am an avid sports lover and its only fitting that I also have an athletic shape. For those who may not be as knowledgeable this means that I have a linear shape and am not blessed with an hourglass physique. The great thing is that I retain muscular tone and the absence of feminine wide hips means I can sprint a little faster! Being that I am in the “fashion” world, being shaped this way is not always showcased the best in certain styles and I have found that A-Line dresses and skater fits work to my advantage. I purchased this dress from White House Black Market about 4 years ago and never wore it. I was not a huge fan of the empire waist and cap sleeves but loved the material and bought it solely because it was such a great deal. Usually that is not the best method for shopping but luckily in this instance, it really worked for me! I absolutely adore it now and it is now one of my go-to dresses in the winter time. DC is experiencing a very mild winter (so far) and I chose to clothe myself in all black with pastel toppings and I am really loving the purple boots and the pink blazer! Will definitely incorporate much more of this color palette in my arsenal!
