This bomber jacket is probably one of my favorite pieces in my closet. I am currently transitioning and building a new wardrobe and although I have given away about 6 trash bags of clothing, I still have at least 8-10 more to go. As I grow more confident in my style, I find that I no longer need the “trendy” pieces that I used to keep “just in case”.
This bomber will forever be in my closet though. It is lightweight, has a beautiful pattern and complements almost anything I pair with it. And you can never do wrong with a wide leg pant. Speaking of wide leg pants, I am seriously LUSTING over this pair here! swoon!
The Maull Method and I took these shots pretty late in the afternoon/early evening without a single clue as to what we wanted them to look like. This is pretty rare for me and frankly, I don’t think I would do it again. I had the poor guy in the street darting in and out of traffic to capture my fickle vision.
But to be fair- I laid my life on the line as well and walked across the busy street MANY times to get those infamous street scene pictures. I did not post them because they did not turn out the way I would like due to all the parked cars. They were too distracting and took away from the outfit. Sheesh… bit narcissistic huh? Ah well I think we all have a tendency to be a bit narcissitic anyway!
I realized that the last time I posted this bomber jacket, I wore it in a similar fashion. You could say I am a creature of habit. But it has paired well with a full top as well. I am not always bearing tummy with it!

Thank you to the city of Catonsville for being such a fantastic backdrop for this impromptu blog post! I sincerely love Charm City!
I recently picked up a lightweight navy blue bomber at the Salvation Army. It was in the men’s section! I can’t wait to get back in front of the camera. I’ve been decluttering my closet too. Nowadays I’m much more satisfied with less. Please DM me your number again!
