It’s finally summer and I could not be more excited. While I am not a fan of humidity and blazing hot temperatures, I am a fan of short shorts and lazy days at the pool or beach. This summer I told myself I did not care the state of my body figure this year, I was going to wear what I want and it is so freeing!
This year I decided to overhaul my wardrobe and for the summer months, it was adding more shorts to my arsenal. The other day I was at Walmart browsing the summer dresses when my eyes fell on this whole assortment of shorts. We are talking frayed, distressed, long, short, loose, tight– like a short lover’s dream and I left with a few different pairs. Walmart really had everything I could want for my summer fashion! Out of all of them, I got, this white pair is my favorite. It is giving me major retro vibes with the side detail and of course the sailor buttons. I have a thing for sailor buttons. Don’t laugh at me!
I have plans of styling these with my loose tunic style shirts as well as camisoles and of course this knit tank, also from Walmart. Ohhhh just thought of how beautiful they would be with a long flowy duster as well. Time for me to shop for one from Walmart.

Everything looks so easy, breezy and comfortable. I love all the pops of color. Walmart has some really cute fashions for the entire family. I’m in there for household stuff but you have to pass the clothes to check out. Then guess what, I’ve bought something! Lol!
