Breakfast at the Watergate

Happy I Dont Have to be at Work today Monday!

This post is a bit overdue but I wanted to highlight one of my favorite hotels in DC and their new pop up breakfast options at their restaurant. So you know the Watergate Hotel (yeah THAT Watergate) well they have teamed with a few of the best chefs across the country to highlight and feature their best menu items as part of their fall selections. We are talking deliciousness from Chicken and Waffles to Ricotta Beignets!

Yeah pure yumminess.

The Watergate Hotel

It’s been a couple years from the Watergate’s renovation and I have had the honor of being invited to several of their events. Every single time I go, I notice something new that just excites me. Brunch at Kingbird is always a crowd pleaser and drinks in the library always makes me feel posh and luxurious.

But this pop up breakfast may be the best of all their options. For all the guests staying at the hotel, you can choose to grab these items to make sure that you are nourished for the rest of your busy DC day. Not a guest? You can enjoy it to right at KingBird.

A few weeks ago, I was invited to try out these new items and unfortunately an allergic reaction kept me from attending but the food looked so good that I wanted to write on it. My best friend Barnette attended and he had some great photos on his feed and stories and it made me wish I had just went sick and all lol.

So I highly suggest stopping by The Watergate and trying out one of these breakfast items. After you do, will you please tell me what you think?

You’ve inspired to me to explore the food of my city. Hopefully, they will have a few gluten free options.
