Life is pretty tough. It is oh-so worth it but honestly navigating its rocky terrain of highs and lows can make it more challenging than needs to be. We all know of certain things that will always make it hard. Purchasing a car used to be towards the top of that list for any woman. Why? Because for most of us, cars are just not our thing. We don’t know if we are getting a great deal and we just often times do not even know what we want.
I previously spoke on the Capital One Auto Navigator site as the ultimate resource for not only car shopping but also car financing and I am completely putting it into action now. I spent nearly 1 hour last Sunday on the internet browsing cars on the site. You can seriously browse through 12,000 dealerships inventory!!! One minute I wanted another SUV and then it changed to something more along the lines of a sedan. I am that type of woman unfortunately. You know the type. Indecisive as all heck and choices align with that particular mood. Sigh!
My goal with my next car purchase is to choose my dream car. I remember one day trying to be the “independent” woman and strolling into a car dealership in Florida alone in hopes of checking out their inventory and maybe see what I could afford. You know- window shopping. That was a HUGE no no no! The minute the sales person asked me what I was looking for and for how much, I felt in way over my head. I remember thinking “what did I do?”. I did not have any answers to the questions and because I was not knowledgeable about it, I was almost sold something I did not even really like and I had no clue about the financing aspect of it like interest rate or length of the loan. Just an all around mess!
I know that in the next few months when I do go back into a dealership, I will be extremely confident and I won’t have to fake it till I make it. It isn’t because of my more mature age or life lessons but because I will have Capital One Auto Navigator in my back pocket. Ill be armed with the tools that I need to enter any dealership already knowing what car I want, how much it should cost and what my payments will look like. I can even print out a certificate from the site showing that I have been pre-approved! Life is tough as it is… so why not utilize this new tool from Capital One to make this aspect of it as stress free as possible?
Arm yourself ladies. Get on the Auto Navigator site and do your homework from the comfort of your home before you try to battle the purchasing process alone! Learn from me and realize that this is not one of the times that you want to fake it till you make it!
This post was sponsored by Capital One but thoughts and opinions are completely my own.
I’m due for a new car soon and want the nicest one at the cheapest cost!
