Hey all-
I feel like I really have been hitting the fashion circuit lately and attending almost every fashion event that is hosted in DC. Its funny because I didnt make ANY events during the summer when the weather was nice but since its frigid out, I think oh let me hit the streets? Wow I am SO BACKWARDS!!! Anywho… I attended the CapFABB event last night at Caramel Boutique on U St and surprisingly had a FAB time. I loved chatting with Liz of So Much to Smile About and all the other capfabbers! Its really who you are with that makes the night and not where or what you are at. I feel truly blessed to have such a strong sisterhood of bloggers here in DC and am truly excited for everything that is in store for us. I was also able to finally meet some bloggers that I follow and speak to on twitter regularly.. Krystin of Be Loud Be You and Keri of Diva State of Mind (please do check out their blogs). I was also SO GEEKED and I mean GEEKED to meet Emore J, this man smelled so gosh darn good that I followed him around just to take a whiff (sigh, sorry to my BF). I also got the opportunity to meet a photographer I admire OH SO VERY MUCH and you must check out her site: Go Kate Shoot. Ally Cog of Chain Strap Purse was also in attendance and she is the most darling and sweet girl ever. Def a gem! And last but certainly not least, it was great chatting with La Petite Marmoset and her adorable lil monkey 🙂 Def excited to attend her Lookbook launch party next week!
The Venue:
Caramel Boutique is a cute shop in upper U st in NW DC and we were all thankful to get to peruse their selection of men’s and women’s clothing. The best part of the night though was the items from Goodwill that were on sale. You know I love a bargain and I scooped up 4 things for 25 dollars. One of them is beyond HAUTE!!! (think prepster Ralph Lauren). AAAAHHH I cannot wait to wear it and show you all!
Special thanks to the Goodwill Fashionista for the amazing selection and great service!!!
And now on to the fun….
p.s. my outfit was ehhhh but it was how I felt when I was dressing that morning. I so dress for my mood and my mood almost always consists of a black leather jacket lol

@girlie blogger- THANK YOU
You looked ON POINT, missy! Not a single strand of your hair was out of place, so jelly! With the kinds of windy-ness we’ve been having lately, that’s pretty impressive haha. Tell me why I get so excited when you make new blog entries =)
