Hey all-
Today was an AMAZING day!!! Not only is it Friday but also my interview with Miss Vannette came out on her site ( My Interview ) and my sister made the National Honor Society in her grad program! I love my sister more than anything and am so proud of all her accomplishments… she has brains like no other!!!!!!! I get pretty excited for jeans day at work because I love a laid back look and since Im pretty constricted during the week, its nice to wear pretty much whatever I choose to at the end of the week. Today it was C.O.L.D. in DC (duh its mid January right?) so of course I had to layer up. I bought this jacket on a shopping excursion with Sade of 9toFly and although she HATED it, I instantly loved it when I saw it. Like I said I love old lady garments. It does kind of look like a rug but I will find a way to wear anything and make it my own. When she saw the pics she said “ohhhh I like it.. just not for me” (LOL).
I have to give a HUGE thank you to @graphicdesignny for the last minute editing on 2 of these pics. I needed something taken out and it was done so promptly and professionally. Twitter is a wonderful thing and I cannot imagine my world without it.. LOL, kinda pathetic huh…..
and now onto the Rug Coat………

“HATED IT!!!” lmao…aw come on jjp, i HATE all of those course tweed fabrics lol…dont be too hard on me! i do however love this on you and the cinching of the waist with the contrasting belt…gives a nice sassy pop, way to rock it out!
