Cozy Hats and Lots of Layers

Hey all-
Yeah Coco, we arent in Florida anymore! I cannot believe I woke up this morning and checked the iphone to see that it was currently 18 degrees outside.. BRRRrrrrr! Even though I grew up in Michigan, DC cold seems SO different to me. I swear its worse here when it gets cold or maybe its in my head but whatever. I recently watched and rewatched a Robin Williams movie called “What Dreams May Come” after a suggestion from my boyfriend and it really has cemented its spot in my top 10 list. It was AMAZING and so thought provoking. You all should really check it out if you like movies that make you think. I am just now getting back to the swing of things and realized I desperately need a garment rack in my bedroom. Every night before I go to bed I think of a delightful plethora (oh how I love that word!!) of outfits to wear the next day and then in my sleepy haze in the morning I end up wearing whatever feels comfy. Well today this felt comfy so this is what I wore! Many thanks to my photographer du jour, Greg Proctor for taking these. I really didnt want to have to bring my tripod to work and look like a narcissist taking pics of myself outside of my building.. LOL.

p.s. I so need to work on my posture. I have scoliosis and I always forget that I naturally stand like the Hunchback of Notre Dame.. sigh!

Enjoy and THANK YOU so very much for the response to the video. I appreciate it VERY much!

wrinkled much?

yup I was doing a little shiver dance and it was caught on camera

DC cold is completely different. Delt with it my entire 7 years there. I bought my first heavy coat messing with DC’s winters. LOL! But anyway, you look adorable as usual. Have a great week Jen!

Thanks a bunch for stopping past my blog. Coincidence, like you I’m from Mich. and lived there until I was a teen. I’ve been in Baltimore everysince, and although it’s always cold in the D, I never got use to it. That’s the only thing I hate about Detroit is the weather! Anyway, great blog and fabulous cozy looking oufit. Don’t be a stranger..

Oh you look so awesome. Really wonderful. At the moment it is so warm in Germany that I can still wear my normal sweater 🙂

Simple but cute and warm. Awesome combo. You would think I’d be used to this recent weather due to Chicago, but…no.
