A Day in the Life- Dating

Fashion is very important to me and although the focus of this blog will forever be geared towards it, things will be shifting around. I am changing and my life is changing. With that, this site will also follow suit because it is a part of me. Transparency is extremely important to me because in this blogging world we find so many who are copying the so called template of bigger, more popular bloggers. I started Comme Coco as a visual online journal and I noticed that I deviated from that a bit. Maybe it is my obsession with Sex and the City and my personality likeness to its protagonist, Carrie Bradshaw but I have always wanted to write about my dating adventures, my thoughts on men and well the funny stories that my circle of friends always share with me. I am not trying to reinvent the wheel as it has been done before and successfully at that but this is unique as it has my spin. This is just another facet of me and my life that I want to share with you all so hang on tight and work with me!

One of my favorite books is the Millenium Girl by Coerte Penske. If you follow me on Instagram you know that I absolutely adore reading and read pretty “grown up” books…. this is not one of those books. It is salacious, well written and well just a fun read all around. It is about a gold digger but goes far beyond that. One of my favorite things about it, is the fact that the main character Bodicea uses Native American names to keep the privacy of those she is sharing tales about. Names such as “Smiles in your Face” or “earning Every Penny” lol. I have a tendency to use different names for people. Maybe its the fact that I wanted to be in the CIA for a brief moment in time that I have a fascination with code names. Regardless, as I recount my stories, I will keep identities secure.

Thank you to everyone who answered my poll on my Facebook Fan Page about what you would like to see more of on Comme Coco. I am listening and taking action! This one is for you 🙂

Baisers,

JJP
