A few weeks ago I was approached by AT&T and DC Mobility to be an official DC Cherry Blossom Festival Blogger and capture the beauty of this annual event through the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge’s camera. Being a die hard iPhone girl, I was hesitant. I mean what could be better than my beloved iPhone’s camera? Well this camera on this non iPhone kicks butts and takes ALL OF THE NAMES! All of them, I tell you. I love how large the screen is and the resolution was better than my current iPhone. But please remember I am still rocking with the iPhone 5s unless someone wants to upgrade me with the quickness!
These are the images I was able to capture during the Cherry Blossom Festival in the Nation’s Capital and I am still mesmerized at this phone’s camera capabilities!
The first set of pictures are straight from the camera with no editing. I wanted to show those without post processing skills or want, to see what you can capture with just merely the Samsung. The second set of pictures are edited in Lightroom and most were taken with my Canon t3i.
These below were taken with my DSLR and I pumped up some aspects with Adobe Lightroom.
Many thanks again to DC Mobility, AT&T and Samsung for giving me this opportunity! More and different pictures are posted on my Instagram: CommeCoco and my photography Instagram: JJPPhoto.

Wow, these were taken on a phone?? That’s crazy! I’m a die-hard iPhone girl too, but these are seriously stunning! I would have guessed they were shot on a DSLR.
