Hey all-
Happy Hump Day! Although its ridic muggy outside, I just was not feeling a dress today in any way shape or form. I looked inside my bottoms closet (yes I have a closet dedicated to JUST bottoms ie pants/skirts/shorts) and saw these Seven black skinnies and instantly wanted to go very basic with a white and black pallette. I put the outfit together and just felt it was missing a certain something and I knew I needed a vest since its much too hot for a jacket. If you follow me on twitter you know I have been having pregnancy like cravings for a denim vest and this morning I just couldnt hold out ANY LONGER so I grabbed one of my jean jackets and hacked off the sleeves. I literally had 7 minutes to make my bus but I knew it would BUG me all day if I didnt have the proper topper for my white t….. I may be an oddball for that but its one of my many quirks. I cannot stand leaving the house without the outfit I pictured. It drives me NUTSO and I am not able to focus throughout the day. But it all ended well because I made my bus (thank goodness I was a sprinter in high school and my natural athleticism jumped into action) and I have a new vest to wear with all my new thrifted midi skirts and printed pants. Heck I may wear this with my white bikini…… the possibilities are ENDLESS. Anyone else as “special” as me and has trouble focusing if they arent wearing exactly what they wanted or am I the lonely inhabitant of wackadoo island???

It’s a bit muggy in Seattle as well. Very unusual for us. Love those glasses. Round is a good shape for you.

Goood Lawd 2000 options for the shoes! I really want to make a vest, but I’m gonna look for a jacket at the thrift store and i might actually bleach it.
Thank you Dinesha!

Doooooooooooo it!!! Yes!!!
Jen
Great idea! I wanna do it, too
Thanks!!! Imbin love with this vest. It took all of me NOT to wear it again today.
Jen
thank you so much! Im lovin these glasses.. Im such a basic dresser that I let accessories punch up my outfits! Im a sucker for nice sunglasses.
I like the outfit, simple but cute. The glasses remind me of Diane Keaton. My only weird thing with clothes is thinking about what I should have worn instead of said article throughout the whole day & praying that I don’t bump into anyone important if my outfit doesn’t look how I envisioned it.
Ohhh I’m like that too. Hahahah. It’s so weird but it will bother me. Lol.
Thank you for the comments!!! Gonna catch up on ur blog this week while I’m in florida.
Jen
I am with you both on this, I do that alot. I get to work or anywhere and I when I see my outfit fully I start to think I should’ve worn this or that, then I start thinking boy I hope no one sees me that will look at me like uhmmm what does she have on. LOL I work in IT so not many fashonistas in my office, but I work smack dab in the middle of downtown Atlanta and on a college campus (GSU) so yeah ALOT of fashonistas around!!
