I hate skinny jeans. Wait, did I write that? Well yes I hate skinny jeans until recently. I’m still not going to choose them over straight leg ones but after trying on the Frame Le One Skinny Jeans on my midsize body, I’m hooked. So this is why I titled this post my favorite skinny jeans for midsize women.
It took me a while to fully understand where my body falls. Never could fit plus-size clothing from the plus-size brands well but most of the “single-size” brands weren’t always the best fit either. I felt in-between.
What is Midsize?
To get right to the point— midsize is an internet term for those who wear size 10-18. Single size are those from 00-8 and plus-size is often deemed as 18 and above.
When I started gaining my weight in 2016, I assumed I was plus-size. So I tried to shop with brands such as Eloquii but the fit was always off for me. It wasn’t until I had a really great business chat with Essie Golden that I learned of midsize.

Like butter. Honestly. They move really well and I don’t have to struggle to get them on. They are stretch and yes they are fitted which is a new look for me but they feel like a really great pair of leggings. You can see me try them on in this try-on video.
