Florals for spring… groundbreaking. But florals for fall, well its me cutting loose and having fun.
Amazon often partners with influencers and tastemakers on one day only collections called Amazon Drop. A few months ago, Blake “dropped” hers and the innanets went crazy. I even created a savings account for it so when the time came I would have money. No, the items aren’t expensive but you never know what money will look like. Preparation is key!
But anyway, she created a collection full of florals and deep jewel tones and the masses showed up and showed out. Her tie waist emerald green pants sold out QUICKLY and yes I got a pair. Unfortunately, I don’t think they do me any justice but best believe when I figure out how I want to show them off, I’ll be posting them.
On Sunday, my best friend came over to shoot her pregnancy announcement pictures. You can see them here! She brought over this blazer dress from Blake’s collection for me to try on and style. So style I did. I made it florals for fall lol.
During my work lunch break, Jermaine and I headed over to where we get Chinese food and snapped a few pics. We did two outfits in an hour in two locations and I LOVE how this turned out.
While I’m not a girly girl type dresser, I love how I added a little “Jen” sais quoi to the blazer.

Blazer Dress: Amazon Drop (sold out), Option 1 | Option 2 | Option 3
It would have been obvious to belt it to create a waist but keeping it loose and boxy made it a bit more fun to me. Who wants to be obvious anyway. And the floral thigh-high boots are always the best for elevating an outfit.
All in all, I’m digging the heck out of my Florals for Fall look and may try my hand at some more print on print.
Now to find more statement boots…..
You did that!
