The easiest thing in the world to do when trying to stand out at a fashion event is to wear bright colors and voluminous clothes. So I did just that to attend the CapFabb Academy: How to Navigate Brand Relationships panel discussion at the Renaissance Dupont in DC. Like I have said in previous posts, I always choose one item and build around it and after purchasing this full midi skirt, I knew it had to be the focal point of my ensemble! My friend Kizzy commented that I was channeling Snow White and another person via social media stated “if Snow White was a black woman in 2015!”. I am totally digging that and did not even make the connection initially. So yeah, I will be that because Snow White was kinda awesome lol! Now where are my 7 dwarfs?
