Graveyard Shift

Evolution is a part of life. Change is a part of life. A blog is a glimpse of life and mine is constantly shifting as I mature and grow as a person. Photography means a lot to me as does fashion so its imperative for me to offer kick ass images while showing off my personal style. When Sig and I were planning our next shoot, I knew I wanted to do something different. I did not have an outfit in mind but my boyfriend gave me the idea of doing it in the cemetery I always comment on while driving our usual route in Baltimore. I instantly loved the idea because there is something mystical and beautiful about this place of rest. The only reservations I did have about this location was the fact that some may believe it is a disrespect for the dead. I knew I was not doing anything wrong to gravestones and I was not going out of my way to expose anyone’s name on the headstones. These images are gorgeous to me because of this locale and the outfit is alright lol. I do love this beanie from Filthy Magic though and will have this in my rotation this Fall and Winter!

 I am a person who believes you can get great accessories anywhere. These sunglasses I found at my local Dollar Tree and I really love them. They have a rounded cat-eye shape and are super dark. For the price, I am perfectly okay with the fact that they probably will not last me forever. But these images will so they are always commemorated! Gotta love having a blog for that reason 🙂

 Most of these images were post processed by Sig of Flash Bang Photography but I also put some work in. I am really enjoying working with Photoshop and Lightroom.

 It was a struggle standing in 4 inch heels in the grass. Of course I would have found one of the only moist areas on the land to step in and spent a good 3 minutes trying to gain my footing while Sig just snapped away. I love the non “posing” pictures though. 

I mean at least you can see the clothes move right?
