Healthy Football Snacks with Amazon

This post has been sponsored by Amazon however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

It’s my favorite time of the year. The temperature is getting cooler and our family’s favorite
sport to watch—football—is on almost every single day. Yup, it’s fall and I could not be happier.
We plan on hosting a few fun football get-togethers at our house this year, so a few weekends
ago I decided to test out some healthy football snacks.

Since we have been getting groceries delivered from Amazon I have been having fun
experimenting with healthier recipes. The fact that we can get fresh produce and pantry staples
delivered right to our door have made the whole process seamless.

Back to my healthy football snack test run-though. I am obsessed with making deviled eggs, but
mayo is not exactly on the healthy spectrum, so after doing some research, I decided to try out
fresh avocado. Everything about the deviled eggs was the same except for an easy avocado
substitution for mayo and honestly, they were DELICIOUS. The eggs were still very much
creamy with an added flavor boost thanks to the avocado. I then wanted to add a little football decor to them so I grabbed some crumbled bacon (you can use turkey bacon or even tofu) and used greek yogurt to design the laces on the football eggs.

Dips are also a must-have for football snacks, but most are filled with high-fat ingredients. In my
quest to make them healthier, I ordered some Greek yogurt and ground turkey to make a
yummy meat dip. Before you ask, yes, I was able to get them all from Amazon. I am a huge fan
of getting everything delivered to my home with Amazon because it’s easy, convenient and love
the accessibility for customers to pay with a SNAP EBT card. Need a refresher? SNAP recipients
can load their card information at amazon.com/snap to enjoy time-saving benefits and free
access to Amazon Fresh–no membership required. Even better are the budget-saving offers
that include special discounts across grocery brands.

Because it’s fall, I really want to incorporate more seasonal items to my healthy football snack
recipes and I’m thinking trail mix, but with roasted pumpkin seeds which you can purchase on
Amazon Fresh and Amazon Grocery. Another really cute idea is to get mini pumpkins and
scrape them out and fill them with various dips.

So although this was a test run, Jermaine and I definitely enjoyed our healthy football snacks while watching some football and I cannot wait to show yall the super fun football parties we host in the near future using items delivered right to our home from Amazon Fresh.
