Hey all-
Although this is a personal style blog as in MY personal style blog and I have a tendency to gear it more towards women’s fashions, I do love a hot haute man as well. For me its not always about what a man’s face or body looks like but what is he framing that face with and how do the clothes lay on that body. Whenever I watch old movies I am always deeply enthralled by the je ne sais quoi that is the men in the “olden” days. It seems as if they all had the real swagger and not the kool aid swag juice that alot of these rappers are trying to have us believe is dope. These men believed in accessories and a well tailored suit and did not buy into the stereotypes of what wearing a certain item of clothing would mean. They just DRESSED and they dressed WELL!!! But not to just put the blame on the males because there are some women who have given up the glamour on dates or everyday for convenienve and comfort. But…. I’d love to bring that back and see more men care about their style and step away from the “pick up whatever T-Shirt is at the top of the freshly laundered hamper” and then pair it with “whatever jeans pass the sniff test” and then finish the look with “the sneakers with the least scuff marks on them”. I often get styling questions and/or job offers to style men. Honestly I would much prefer to style a man than a woman but I dont have confidence in my styling capabilities. I am just a chick who enjoys fashion and see it as an art form that I appreciate. Regardless, I am pretty excited to go shopping with my boyfriend’s good friend and help him revamp his look. He has a great budget and an open mind and that is really ALL it takes. My boyfriend is someone who also has asked for my help and I can say I havent taken him seriously enough. He has such a perfect body for so many garments because he has the model slim physique that anything looks AMAZING on.
(no Im not biased, he really does, just hard to see in the
baggy clothes he loves to envelope his body in)

Below is a compilation of the best men’s style looks I have found thus far on Pinterest (oh yeah are you following me yet?). No one has to follow an outfit to a T and I urge no one to do so because then it loses its personal touch but I hope that my male readers will try to incorporate more color, prints, and accessories to their ensembles! If you like a more “urban” look then keep on rockin it but maybe add some color or a nice watch. Style is all about staple pieces, great blazers and clothes that FIT your body frame. Even if you only have one nice suit, make sure that it HANGS well and looks like it was MADE for you and YOU only!!!!!!!
p.s.- please please no more NERD GLASSES,
certain Miami Heat b-ball players overdid and killed that look for all of mankind! (heehee)
