Imagination vs Reality

Hey all,
Florida was surreal because my boyfriend’s team, Gamebreakers are the USFTL National Champs… it was an amazing tourney and they played their hearts out and OHH WEE, I felt like a proud mama. Since April, I have only missed one of their games and have been taking pics since May for them so it really was an amazing experience to see them come SUCH a long way. I was especially excited when my boyfriend made the All American Offense Team for his crazy AWESOME catch during one of their games.. it was SO ESPN worthy!

As far as my co-ed team… yeah ummm we didnt win lol… we can leave it at that LOL.

Im realizing that taking pics at work is taking away from my real personal style. Although I still wear things I typically would wear and take pics to post, I dont feel like I have the full creative license to go crazy because I do have to show up at work in that outfit and dont have time to change etc… oh how I miss when it got dark late and I could run home and go balls out with my tripod lol. Im so thankful though for all the support and help I get from my work photographers… I dont know what I would do without them. Huge thanks to Greg Proctor for these.

Here is a comfy outfit I chose to wear (well not the shorts since those are NOT work appropriate)…
I titled this Imagination vs Reality because I imagined this outfit was super cute and in reality its ehhhhhhhhhh
ENJOY!

p.s. yup I have some thicky thick thighs and Im not afraid to show ’em
p.s.s. do not follow my lead by taking half ass pics because you arent feeling all the way into it… I warned you.

This is very cute!! Would have never thought to pair some cute shorts with a sweater and boots! I disagree with you saying imagination vs reality, because I think it is super cute in “reality” Wow I must try this! Thanks for sharing 🙂

    Nice shorts!

Your work clothes are so cute, but I understand how you feel – a bit mundane after a while. Your personal style is super fun and sassy. Let’s see more of it! :OD

I totally feel you… I am struggling to find creativity in my work environment. Maybe because I am slightly stressed or I’ve grown out of my fun work attire or I sit in a cubicle all day (a quite large on might I add). My boyfriend killed me yesterday because he says I go into my closet and just stare! I am no longer inspired to wear my work clothes. *sigh* Anyway love the shorts I haven’t tried tights/shorts booties in a while (inspirational thought).

Congrats to your “All American Guy”! How did I miss you guys down there?? We were on the go with E&O the entire week! Best vacation to date (minus not winning the championship..but my guy did run for a 20yard touchdown)..okay enough football talk! I LOVE your shorts…& I must say that you made me contribute to the economy of Florida. I bought shorts & sweater dresses & wide leg pants & belts/scarves..all because of the outfits that you have been posting! I love your style & love your blog!

The creative juices will soon flow again. I to miss the late/darken nights, its hard to try to take photos because of the nights sky. On another note, I love those shorts, great to wear with/without tights.

My thighs are thicker than a snicker! I actually just purchased a similar pair of leopard shorts this weekend at BCBG. You may have inspired me to actually wear them!
