My love of overalls dates back to my middle school days where I owned about 12 different pairs of these so called “farmer” staples. You name the fabric, fit, and color, I had them and would rock them proudly. I am elated that they are back in style because now I can find them! This pinafore that I am rocking, was in fact a thrifted find and it was ankle length. I was sitting up on Wednesday night, eating an oven baked Mango Habanero Chicken Sandwich from Dominos and watching Sex and the City and decided I wanted to travel to VA Beach in something comfy but still chic. A pair of scissors later and my ankle length denim overall dress became an updated short pinafore and I love it. It was definitely a quick idea and I should have measured and used chalk to draw a straight line, but really, that would be too muck like right and so un-Jen like. It turned out ok and I have an asymmetrical skirt! Check out my various other social networks to see my DIY distressed boyfriend jeans and denim cutoffs! So much you can do with a razor blade, scissors, and sandpaper!
