Madewell Harbor East Grand Opening

Last night was the grand opening of the Madewell store in Baltimore at Harbor East and I, along with my stylista sistas, Kizzy and Teena were in attendance to help them celebrate! I have been trying to go to far more events in the Baltimore area since this is technically my home now and had no problem braving the cold to nibble on yummy treats from Charm City Catering and quench my thirst with Botter Prosecco! I have been on such a bubbly kick and I fully blame my blogger BFF Lacey for that! There is just something about the bubbles tickling your throat and holding the stem of the perfect champagne flute that screams instant glam to me. I do not have my usual fun photo recaps of the ambiance since the manager of this particular store told us that Madewell did not allow outside photography. I promise the next event post will feature my intense photo recaps though!

I knew I wanted to wear my thigh high boots so I built my outfit around that. People often ask how I choose what I am going to wear and honestly its a pretty simple process. I choose one piece that I want to wear and then build an outfit around that. I do not always take the weather into consideration because if I have something in mind, that is what I am rocking, no matter what. This is probably why I am feebly fighting a cold at this very moment…..

This Ralph Lauren blazer/dress is hands down my most favorite piece that I have in my closet. It embodies everything that I adore in fashion and helps me feel my absolute very best whenever I put it on. It has such a utilitarian vibe that I almost always pair it with my thigh high boots. I mean why not dress like a bad ass if you feel like one?!?!
