Mellow Yellow

See… I kept my promise!!!

This is probably one of the most non Jenni dresses that I own but every time I put it on for some reason I feel very 60’s. I still remember the day I bought it because of the pesky Michael Kors employee that kept telling me how great the color looked on me. I’m usually never “sold” but she just wouldn’t budge and well, I like to go out on a limb sometimes so this is what happens. I have been in a color-ful mood and I have been dying to wear these bow shoes of mine. The heel is like something a pilgrim would wear but I still love ’em… I don’t believe in high heel shoes being less than 4 inches… anything less and you are a pilgrim in my opinion (hey everyone’s got an opinion right)

I have a SUPER busy rest of the week ahead of me with LOTS of very fun photo ops that I cannot wait to share with you. Tomorrow I’m attending Shecky’s Girl’s Night Out at DAR Constitution Hall, Thursday I am going to E Street Cinema to see the Bill Cunningham documentary and Saturday is a great fund raising event at Saki in DC. I also did a little thrifting today at lunch (fashion before food) and bought an A.MA.ZING leather skirt…. I was completely on “team spring where for art thou” but now I’d like it to stay cold long enough for me to wear it 🙂 (sue me)

Ok, I see what you mean by pilgrim shoes & the bow definitely adds to it but I really like the ensemble, now all you need is a disco ball 🙂

Your outfit is adorable. Very mod-like. Have fun at Shecky’s! I went last year (first time) and it was pretty good.

Constructive criticism .Though i don’t like this outfit at all. Does not flatter you at all. your style is almost there. I think your best outfit is your ralph lauren jacket thigh high boots. Let me tell you why. The quality and finishing is very put together. I see trendy with you very much but I think if you up’d you quality of clothing (not necessary more expensive) but pay attention to the fabrics ,stitching and how they flow with your body shape you would killem. You can shop at forever 21 (seems your favorite store) try them as basics or pay attention to how its made. Also your accessories work very well but remember shoes make or break your outfit.

My thoughts only. But keep it up your almost there.

Thank you for the constructive criticism and I appreciate everything you said very much. I will certainly take it all into consideration and bring out the “higher quality” items in my closet. Again I appreciate you taking the time to look over my posts and please feel free to send me an email if you would prefer not to be anonymous. Thank you again!!! 🙂

ok…I dont agree with the constructive criticism… your style is almost there.. no her style is her style. What do you mean by that? That was the worst criticism I have EVER seen.. you did not help or offer any advice. Next time just say who you are and let’s see YOUR style since you are the all knowing fashion guru.

I think you are great comme-coco… do you!
