Hey all-
Fashion Week is O-VER for me and honestly I could not be any happier! Please do not get me wrong, I love every minute of it but as exhilarating as it is, it is JUST as tiring and stressful. I was super excited to get home to my boyfriend and his little man and just sit on the couch and watch FOOTBALL… (Go Ravens)! I am going to post throughout the rest of the week all of my fashion week outfits as well as recaps of the shows I attended but thought I would do a much requested outfit photo. I never realized how much my readers would rather see pics of me in clothes rather than my event recaps lol… I thank you all for that but pretty please like the event recaps too since I love covering those! 🙂 Today I am wearing a skirt I thrifted a few weeks back paired with my oldie bu goodie Arden B cropped faux leather jacket, Joey pumps and Old Navy T shirt. There is something so incredibly comfy yet chic about this ensemble. I hiked the skirt up SUPER high because I did not like where it hit on my legs. I have “athletic” calves and any hemline that hits right at that spot tends to make them look wider than need be. It is all about learning your body and what works for it and slowly but surely I am doing my best to dress for the body that God and ice cream gave me 🙂
Before I close this post, I want to say a million thank yous to Monroe of Fashion Steele NYC for your hospitality and opening up your home to me yet again! You are truly a wonderful person and I cannot thank you enough for everything. Also many, many mercis to my friend Alexia for traveling all the way from the OC to come and hang out with me. As always, its an unbelievably chaotic but GREAT time when we get together! Cant wait to see you in July when you leave the single ladies club!!!

Bet Fashion Week was super busy. But it also sounds like fun.
What a cute dress up. I like the prints and the pleats.

Lovely!! Live this look!! You look great!
I know for a fact that I hardly get comments on my event recap posts. lolol. Now, if I tacked an outfit post along with it then maybe I get a couple more comments. But that’s rarely. And just like you, I love going to events and covering them for my blog. So, it’s like, should I continue doing so for my own enjoyment despite some my readers not caring? LOL!
Anywho, you look great! Love the skirt and how you made it high-waisted. And I prefer round toe. Pointy toe does make a ‘fit look classy but, yeah, round toe.
Thank you Vivy!!!! I’m a pointy toe girl lol
Makes my legs look thinner and I can’t fit a slightly smaller shoe in a pointy toe hahahahah. Girl I will forever do my event recaps. I Love them lol!!! Thank you for commenting!

The last pic is so cute! I can see that you are truly having fun with fashion. BTW- I am a pointy toe girl…not super pointy but pointy nonetheless!
Beautiful outfit; the skirt look amazing. I like the way you style it with the jacket. Totally cool!
