Hey all-
I truly believe that fashion activates the sense. When I see an outfit or someone who just radiates style, my heart instantly beats faster, my eyes become clearer and I am just full of life! (may be a slight exaggeration but not by much lol). When I walked into the presentation for Rafael Cennamo at Lincoln Center, I unfortunately did not feel any of those things. The dresses themselves were very well made and lovely but I got the sense that I had seen it before. I didn’t feel the energy that I should have. I may get flack for this review but I always protect the integrity of the blog and am always honest. Although I wasnt fond of all the dresses, the dark grey satin with the rose appliques did raise my blood pressure a tad! I do want to say that the models were amazing though. There were 3 specifically who WORKED it and worked it well! Kudos to them!
I also wonder if the fact that I am not so much of a girly girl and not a big evening dress wearer played a role in my opinions on this collection… hmmmmmmmm
