Carpe Diem. Seize the Day. You see it all over social media. You see it on wall prints. You see it in tattoos. But do we all really understand and apply it?
We all have our own interpretations of quotes and saying that we hear. I love quotes and sayings and often repin them in abundance on Pinterest but what happens after? These awesome little tidbits of information should be ways of life for us. Things we remember and not just have a quick “aha” moment and then move on. My goal in August has been to not only stick with my love of quotes but to also read them daily and find ways to make them reality in my life.
I am one that lives in the past far too much. I let my circumstances affect me in the present and I often allow my past to dictate my future. I allow anger to break me and mold me into someone I despise. So from now on, I am living like its my last. I am taking every opportunity that interests me as long as it is healthy and allows me to grow positively.
With this in mind, I am planning to really follow my passions intensely. It is time to start scratching things off of the ole bucket list. Starting with finding a social media marketing gig with a local shopping center such as Mondawmin Mall. Its been recently renovated and could certainly use more exposure. I recently went and found such gems like this floral skirt that is my newest obsession!
