Senegalese Twist Ponytails and Professional Denim

With my body shape especially my thighs and calves, its almost impossible to find straight leg or skinny “dress” pants that graze over my lusciousness instead of clinging on for dear life. When I was in San Francisco last month (video of that trip coming soon), I went into H&M and really went crazy. As posted on instagram, I had a nice fashion haul for under $100 bucks and these pants were part of it. They were a tad tighter before but they have loosened to be the perfect size to fit my waist and legs. Why am I talking about it? Because dudes, they are from H&M, I have never, ever, ever been able to find pants from there that fit without being sausage casings for my thighs. These bad boys are AMAZINGly comfy and yet look business casual appropriate enough for work. Oh and to add to my excitement, they were on SALE for under 10 bucks when I snagged them. I so should have grabbed the tan ones too… sigh!
I received alot of positive feedback from my last post and I am pleased that you all loved my honesty. That is what I try to express in this blog. I know the media and the fashion industry try to always put out this glamourous and perfect front but really not everything they put on these stick thin models looks good and not all plus sized garments have to look like table cloths. So Comme Coco is all about showing the real side of an every day girl living in this fashion world….

p.s. Im obsessed with these JCat Big Lip Pencils and today am wearing the Dolly Red color!
*shout out to reader Jihan, that I met today at the metro in DuPont. I get so excited and also feel so humbled when someone actually recognizes me, thanks again for being so sweet!*
