Hey all-
So it’s official… I have a serious problem and need professional help. I do not know how to efficiently pack. I am the queen of OVER packing because I suffer from the “just in case” and the “what if I needs”. UGH! Then to make matters worse, Southwest gives you 2 free checked bags so of course that didnt help my dilemna. Grrrrrrr. I soooo need to attend a class or something. You know what, that is my 2012 resolution.. to learn to pack JUST the necessities with maybe one extra outfit! Vivi from Heart, Print, Style and Sade from 9toFly can attest that I carry a huge purse with all sorts of things jam packed in the bag on a daily basis so when Im away from the comfort of my own home can you ONLY imagine what I bring? My boyfriend is going to FLIP when he sees this. EEK! I kept telling myself “Self you will be on a football field most of the time” but Self responded by scolding me “but what if its cold or too hot or you spill or someone goes to pull your flag and instead rips your pants, you will need a backup” AHHHHHHH! Does anyone else have this issue?
Here is an outfit I threw on this morning for work. Again, im not a huge fan of it. I think Im in a rut or either that I just dont like my clothes anymore. Trust, I will be back and HARD soon enough. I feel as though my problem is more so everything I want to wear is not work appropriate and I take all my pics at work… time to employ what other bloggers do and take a whole bunch of pics during the weekend… sigh but that doesnt seem super Comme Coco to me or what I want the blog to be about…. SIGHHHHHHH…..
p.s. anyone have the February issue of InStyle yet???? 🙂
ENJOY!

I love the layering of this outfit, so cute!! The button down under the sweater dress is so cute!!!
For me packing for a trip takes me about a week to do. I will change the outfits I want to take about 3 times and I always pack at least 2 to 3 more outfits than I know I will need and don’t get me started on shoes. My mom always taught us to pack a little extra because you never know what might happen. I do the same with my sons clothes too!! So you can imagine our suit case!!! LOL

I have the same packing qualms!Almost obsessive when it comes to being prepared for any weather, you’re not alone! Good luck 😉
P.S. Gimme that sweater
Oh yes! I have seen you ‘luggage’ with my own two eyes. It’s a wonder. I don’t know if I am a bad packer. But, without fail, I always forget a vital item. Always. *le sigh*
Meanwhile, liking the furry lil’ vest.
LOL! Yes, You remember that night on U Street Vivi, Jen was pulling stuff out of that big bag like the hustle man in Chinatown on Canal Street…loves it!!! One of the many reasons why I heart Jen!

Well, I am a fan of your outfit. You appear to put way more effort into your work outfits than I put into mine. Kudos.
