Travel Diaries: San Diego

hotel del coronado-comme cocoTraveling. It is oh so good for the soul but oh so hard on the wallet. I had the opportunity to head over to the west coast over this past weekend and spend some time in San Diego and I cannot get over how much I enjoyed it. As much of a city girl, I think that I am, the beach bum laid back lifestyle of California seems to sing my special song. Although I was there for work purposes, I did get a few hours to venture out and do a bit of sight seeing. After googling and asking natives, I was told Coronado Beach and La Jolla Shores were the places to visit. I was staying in historic Gaslamp Quarter of the city and got an uber and headed the 15 minutes to what I consider paradise. I barely edited these pictures and these skies were just too blue. I mean it was perfect in every aspect. The people were nice. The weather was phenomenal. The food was delish and the shopping was wallet friendly. San Diego, you are without a doubt in my top 5 favorite cities in the USA.

This is a pretty photo intense post but I just could not narrow these down. The Hotel Del Coronado deserves for the world to see its beauty!

Looks so pretty!!! I grew up in Los Angeles and have only been to San Diego twice and neither time while I was living in LA and I have never been to the beach in San Diego. Go figure LOL This post makes me think I should really try to make that happen! 🙂
