Fashion is not a huge part of my life during the weekends. I devote most of my weekend to football, photography, friends and family. I typically have a planner chock full of things to do and am always on the go. By Sunday I usually am exhausted but in a great mood. I posted previously on my football history as in the all girls league but never spoke on my football family which is my co-ed flag football team. I play in the MeSports league here in DC on a kick butt team called Ninja Throwing Stars or NTS for short. We almost always finish in the top 4 and this past weekend we defeated the number 1 seeded team 21-0. Yours truly scored 2 touchdowns and yes, I was kinda pumped about it. Its my 4th TD of the season and I feel proud about it because I am a back up on offense but start on defense. When I started, I couldn’t catch the ball, could not run a proper route and well I was not on the field much. I have come a LONG way and have an even longer way to go but the journey is so worth it. This weekend we have playoffs and we are on a mission to bring back the trophy to our NTS home. Would love to see ya’ll there if you want… 10am on Saturday, location to be announced 🙂
