Work & Working It

My blogger fairy godmother, Lacey (), recently g-chatted me a link that changed my “life” instantly. That link led me to the fabulousness that is A Classy Cubicle, a blog dedicated to stylish yet appropriate work wear. After seeing how amazing this lady looks, it, along with my want to move up in the company, prompted me to get back to my professional ways. Stepping it up a notch or two in the office while still displaying my own personal aesthetic.

My biggest problem with getting dressed in the morning is usually attributed to lack of sleep and grouchiness. I dress for my mood and often times that early in the day, my mood is unpleasant. I am NOT a morning person. I am a middle of the morning person. Heck, I am a nooner! Ever since stalking that blog, I have made a conscious effort to throw my mood aside and dress for the day and not for that minute. It really has changed my whole perspective and I am looking at my closet in an innovative and beautiful new light.

Thank you Lacey and A Classy Cubicle for inspiring me!
