A Blogger’s Weekend via Instagram Pics

Hey all-
Friday around 5:00pm is probably one of my favorite times! Don’t get me wrong, I truly LIKE my job but there is no doubt that I LOVE my weekends that much more. Most of my weekends are spent on the football field and hanging out with my boyfriend so you will rarely see me active on social media but this weekend I didnt have any football games of my own to play in so I decided to actually DO my hair! I am definitely on Team Relaxed Hair ( I use kid’s relaxer) but I am a strong advocate of Team Healthy Hair. I have been on a strict regimen of only using heat about 1-2 times a month. I no longer blow dry my hair and only air dry it now. Its usually bunned up or in a braid during the week. Saturday I didnt have anything going on so I washed, air dried and then flat ironed it using my gifted Hana Flat Iron (thank you soooo much again for this). I guess I was kinda feelin myself so took a million and 1 pics of my hair lol. I spen the rest of the weekend watching my boyfriend and his team end the season UNDEFEATED and then we celebrated Father’s Day at McCormick and Schmicks at the Harbor. If you are ever in the mood for light seafood, I highly, highly suggest the Lobster Cobb Salad and you will see why in the pics below! It was to die for good and a HUMONGO portion at that! Bravo to the menu makers at that establishment 🙂
Cheers to the freakin weekend, eh?

  2. Thank you!!!!!!! I was pretty happy with my hair too lol. p.s. the Haitian flag was flying out side of the Westin Gergetown Hotel… so random so I was all geeked about it and had to take a pic!

  5. I luv your blog!!!  Your hair turned out really good.  Just to give you a heads up on the Kiddie relaxer….  I don’t really need a relaxer but I would give myself one 2-3 times a year because it gets really frizzy, using the kid’s relaxer.  My beautician told me that the kiddie relaxers are stronger and she wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.  Instead use a regular relaxer and do not leave it in as long.  I’m 6 months without a relaxer and it’s sooooo hard but I’m going to try to stay strong.  Again, I luv your Blog and have a great day!!!

  6. Omg. Thank you soooo much for telling me about this. I just started with the kiddie relaxers bc I heard they weren’t as strong. This is good info to know. I appreciate it
