Crops and Jackets

After a lot of alluding, I finally went ahead and launched the new blog look! I have been talking about this with so many and designing this for over 6 months and in a week I was able to get exactly what I wanted with the help of my blogger fairy godmother ! She kept me on task and took over when my scatter brain would not let me focus.

When I first started the process, I was hell bent on a magazine style theme and purchased at least 3 of them. I would upload them onto WordPress (oh yes I ditched Blogger!) and would not have that “aha” moment. So I kept searching, kept installing until I came across the Angie Makes themes and literally fell in love with this one. There are a million customizations and please be ready for me to be playing around with them a ton! I have always deemed myself a chamoleon so being able to change the look at the click of a button is absolutely perfect!

Like most of the world, I have been mesmerized by Kim Kardashian’s crops and high waisted skirt minimalist take on fashion. I recently lost about 16lbs and am noticing that I am becoming a little riskier yet still staying true to my style aesthetic. While getting dressed for a night out with Louis, I decided to embrace my inner vixen and the Kimye Bomber jacket from Bait28 was the perfect topper for my all black ensemble. I love that its a looser cut to balance out the form fitting crop and pencil skirt.

I am almost a whole new being… new hair, new blog look, new outfit and new outlook on life!
