Girl, Daisy Dukes, and a Cosby Sweater

Hey all-

I saw a glimmer of nice weather so I wanted to wear shorts… and not just ANY shorts but Daisy Duke hot pants.(lol) I still have to adhere to my rule of not catching pnuemonia because of fashion so I added tights and a cozy sweater to make it still a lil more wintry. I absolutely adore this sweater from my  high school J. Crew obsessed days. I mean EVERYONE at Catholic Central (my alma mater) wore J. Crew and Abercrombie (yuppers we were preps). I recently thrifted this jumper (haha I think I am Brit) and lo and behold its vintage J. Crew so naturally I was happy. I ran out to run some errands and this is what I chose to wear. I normally love my thighs but lately I have really loathed them because I am starting to see cellulite. If I start to have issues with my body, I showcase that part or find things that show it off so I am forced to once again love it again. I refuse to hide lol!!!! I didnt have the best shoes and desperately wanted to wear a pair of flat lace up combat boots with this but I have yet to snag a pair. Because of this lack of appropriate footwear, I wore black flats and red tennies. Started off with the flats but ended up with the wanna be toms. Ballet flats KILL my pudgy no arch having tootsies so I always have to switch up. When I got home, I decided to experiment a little with the blue ones so you are getting a little smorgasbord of hot pants

Comme Coco style! Because the shorts were in fact SO short, I went minimal with my jewelry and makeup. Only wearing concealer, dark red lipstick as blush, mascara, roll on lip gloss (the kiddie stuff), and a dab of nude eyeshadow.
