Leather in the Summer

The easiest way to look stylish in my opinion is embracing a monochrome silhouette. Because it’s still summer, I have a hard time wearing my black leather skinnies but for some odd reason grey seems less ridiculous to me. I recently criticized a certain fashion blogging icon on IG for rocking a layered outfit including a leather jacket when I know the weather in NYC that day was in the high 80s and here I am with thighs enveloped by leather myself. But to be fair to myself, when I put this ensemble on it was a cooler 78 degrees in Baltimore lol. In keeping with the honesty and transparency though, taking these bad boys off after the temperature rose was an arduous task. I really had a Ross from Friends moment. I’m just sayin….. be warned.

 Leather pants in the summer is always a dumb idea!
