When I go thrifting, I rarely take an item at face value. For me it is all about the possibilities and potential of that given piece. I rarely thrift for things that I would typically purchase at a conventional store and instead look for items I would never go buy. When I went to the Goodwill in Catonsville, I came across these “mom jeans” type shorts and gravitated to them. They have a full leg, elastic waist (yes you read that correctly), and pockets. Because I have luscious thighs, I don’t love slim cut shorts. I will wear them if needed but I dont like anything to be sausage casings for my thighs. I usually wear these around the house when I am having a fat/bloated day but decided to pop these on to grab sushi with a good friend. I knew I would be sipping on bubbly and gorging on sashimi and rolls so I neede the extra room. Paired them with my favorite white blazer, stripes, vintage round sunnies and a pop of color on my feet and I was ready to go!
