Minimal Winter Style

Grey and Camel…….

shaved sides on women's hair

Between still being in mourning over the loss of my best friend/grandmother and not really feeling like rocking anything complicated, I have basically dressed in neutral colors this winter. My style has certainly been very minimal and I am realizing just how much I love it. So much so that I plan on creating a capsule collection for my wardrobe. With that comes alot of “letting go” of garments and shoes. If you subscribe to my newsletter, you will have exclusive access to the goodies that Im selling (some for dirt cheap)! Oh and this necklace will be included in that sale so I highly suggest subscribing with a quickness!

As much as I am a loner and like to do everything by myself, I think that after 5 years, it is time to expand Comme Coco!

So….. I recently hired an intern and I cannot wait to formally introduce her to the blog world soon and also working with some new photographers on totally different and new content! Many probably did not know but I literally do everything myself. I have had others shoot me but I am almost 95% the one that places the settings on the camera, does the editing. tells them how to shoot it (perspective and composition), styles myself, chooses the location, does the social media marketing, pitches companies etc….. It has been a one woman show for half a decade and I think it is time to loosen my grip and trust others to help catapult Comme Coco into a full fledged business!

Photos by my most faithful and loyal reader ever! I sent out a tweet asking for someone to snap some pics of me and she was up to the challenge and TOTALLY nailed it! I gave her no composition direction at all…. this is HER eye! Thank you Dejeune!

It is so hard to give up control especially when you’ve been working towards something for so many years. Love your style. Keep up the good work.

I want to get back in fashion blogging. It’s been so long and my picture quality wasn’t that good before. I wonder if I stand a chance is I invest in a nice camera and start up again?

Oh and don’t sell my necklace before I get a chance to get to it.
