I love food. I love eating out. I love that my partner in crime loves to cook more than I do. I get in my moods where I get super domestic but let’s be honest, he does a better job than I do. On the nights that I want to eat really good but don’t want bad for my waistline food, I will start getting food delivered from Munchery! They are now in DC and I was blessed enough to have a few meals delivered to me last Wednesday. I was totally skeptical. I am very particular about how my food is seasoned and when they said it was healthy, I automatically associated it with cardboard taste…. I was dead wrong!
I am adding Munchery DC to my speed dial. For real. Dang, I am craving the misoyagi salmon rice bowl right now…. it was THAT good! Or do I want some of the Meditteranean Chicken bowl…. decisions, decisions!
I was given a delivery window of 2 hours and they were within that range. The food arrived packed perfectly and the customer service was impeccable. I loved that everything was labeled and the instructions for heating were detailed. But, we did not heat it up. All of my choices were just as good slightly cold! He had the glazed salmon and I had the salmon rice bowl. Mine was a bit more raw and it was soooooooooo delicious! But…. I am not sure what the fruit was that was in my bowl. It looked like pineapple but tasted totally different. It paired perfectly with the rice and salmon. I am seriously drooling as I type this. I WANT MORE!!!!
