As I have said over and over again, I am not a beauty girl. I appreciate and envy those that can quickly paint on a sexy smokey eye but I am not that girl. I need makeup that does the trick and fast. What you see above is what I carry in my makeup bag every single day. This pretty much is it! Yes, I know. Be shocked! As much as I love luxury brands, because I dont know or do a great job with my makeup, I stick to drug store and beauty supply cosmetics. My absolute go tos are MAC for concealer (LOVE THEM), maybelline for mascara and Milani for my eyebrow brush. Michelle from Neon V taught me all about eyebrow shaping and penciling in and I almost always make sure to have that done. It really makes such a difference to your face. I swear! Speaking of Michelle, her and the other phenomenally stylish gals of Neon V Magazine are hosting a Peculiar Picnic in a few weeks here in DC. Their events are always a fabulous time and they always step out of the typical DC event box.
