Summer Work Wardrobe Essentials

With any change in life, we as humans do our best to prepare ourselves. I start my new position next week and although it is at the same company, it is certainly not the same environment. Since I will now be working with our Executives, my clothing choices have to be far more tailored and professional to an extent. We are fortunate to have a business casual office and during the summer we are allowed to wear jeans. I recently read a fabulous article in Marie Claire magazine about “jean days and what it means” and I am adamant that I will still dress for the job I want even in denim. I own a closet full of neutrals and not much color so I decided that my capsule collection for summer work wear was going to include bold hues. The above is what I came up with while playing around on Polyvore. I am so amped to wear an all white power suit with either the white wide leg pants or the white trumpet skirt that I just purchased from H&M. There is something so dramatic and gorgeous with an all white ensemble in tailored pieces!
