Tees in the Trap | Beyonce Taught Me
So first and foremost I am not part of the Beyonce fan club aka Beyhive. I am more of a Rihanna girl BUT when uber awesome T-Shirt company Tees in the Trap reached out about working together, I jumped on it! If you follow me on instagram, you know that I have a thing for graphic t-shirts and remixing those graphic t-shirts. While a crewneck is great, sometimes a girl just needs to add her own pizzazz to it. I live by Inhale Fashion, Exhale Style so I always have to add my own personality to anything that I am sent or wear. Just like Tees in the Trap, I feel like I am a little trendy, somewhat edgy and always fly! Even if only in my own head!
While perusing the site, I realized that I adore EVERYTHING! Their new workout gear has me wanting to hit the treadmill asap and all the cute coffee mugs make me want to purchase a Keurig and sip lattes all day long!
Here is just a quick outfit I threw on to head to Westfield Annapolis to cover their Actors for Actors series. While shopping I was rocking my trusty Converse Chuck Taylors and then for dinner I quickly switched into my metal cap toe booties! These pants are a bit longer than usual because one hem ripped so I had to rip the other to match. I guess you can say that I need to make a quick trip to the Dry Cleaner!
I want to take a few minutes and discuss Tees in the Trap because I am a huge fan now! Besides being very high quality, and really soft, I am super excited about the fact that it is a black woman owned business. Granted I try not to see “color” or “race” but I do love to celebrate the minority. And well a black woman owned business is a minority in the USA. So let’s take a moment to applaud all the female entrepreneurs out there! Keep working hard ladies!

Like I said previously- I am not a big Beyonce fan. But after watching Formation, Beyonce taught me that money, attention and fame rule her world. Beyonce taught me that she is not some activist and that although she used powerful imagery in clips of her video, the lyrics lacked in all things Black power!
Their items are really cute and relevant to our social media culture.
