Washingtonian Style Setters

Hands down my favorite fashion or style event in DC goes to the Washingtonian Style Setters soiree. It is just a magical time. What I love the most though is that everyone invited isnt “fashionable” but they all have superb personal style so I guess Im pretty geeked to be on the list. Every year it is in a different locale and this year City Center was the place to be. All the great food establishments in City Center catered the food and I re-fell in love with Momofuku and Del Friscos! I could not get enough of the thick cut bacon from Del Friscos and of course the Ginger noodles from Momofuku. So much so, that as I write, I want to get in my car and head over there for lunch!

This year I headed over with my good friend Lacey of and her date Barnette of DC Fashion Fool and had soooooo much fun! We pre-gamed (is that a thing anymore?!?!?) at Del Friscos and I chose to imbibe on a Dirty Martini. It was dirty but not tasty but Barnette’s gimlet was delish! We walked over to The Apartments at City Center for the Washingtonian Style Setters event and I was immediately in awe of the clothes. Everyone was impeccably dressed and I have to say the award goes to the men more so than the women. Dapper, sophisticated, ingenuous were some of the words that came to mind when seeing the gentlemen’s outfits! Well done men!

Here is a collection of 95% unedited photos that I took with my new iPhone 7 plus. All around this phone has me obsessed and I don’t know how I dealt with my iPhone 5 so long. The low light camera capabilities are out of this world and this enables me to not have to bring my DSLR to every event.
