Complementary Ties
Hey all-
Let’s Hear It For the Boy….. I am a huge fan of androgynous dressing and mixing feminine elements with toughness. It is rare that I go full girly in my style choices and this morning was no exception. I have been on this bow tie and regular tie kick and initially wanted to pair it with a skirt but I had not one ounce of motivation to shave my legs this morning. (yup I said it, Im hairy) Although a cute skater fit skirt would have been a nice twist, I went ahead and just wore my ulra wide trousers from Old Navy instead and called it a day. Although they are too long and too big in the waist, I went full out and just wore suspenders to hold them up…. yup I am so cool like that! I do wish my hair was behaving so that I could have worn it in “feminine” waves but alas I still have not washed it so its being defiant and not doing what my flat iron and waver has asked of it. I started the day receiving compliments on this look and am still getting them so I think my 10 minute choice this morning was a superb one! Anyone else super geeked that tomorrow is Friday?!?!
