Fall Black, Houndstooth and What You Twerkin With
Hey all-
Its Fall… Its Fall… or better yet its Fall/Autumn weather and I cannot be more happy. I love layering, wearing hosiery and boots and when I checked my trusty iPhone and I saw that cooler temps were present for today I did a happy dance in my bedroom!! I was also dancing to some seriously “ratchet:” music while getting prepping for work and realized just how much music can change your spirits and make a morning less dreary. I had such a great time twerkin it (well what I can twerk), poppin it (the little booty that could) and bringin it back that I plan on doing this at least once a week to brighten my day! The more “ignorant” the music, the more I like it and it just does not coincide with me striving to be a super classy lady because the minute a good old “gentleman’s club” worthy song comes on I become a DIFFERENT lady and well, I have no apologies for that! Heck, I need an alter ego name (who wants to name it)! Funny story: The other night I was watching the Twerk Team videos (love them) and I attempted to make each cheek bounce and then both at the same time. I was really doing a great job until……….. I got a charley horse in the left one and started screaming and writhing in pain!!! To say the least, its certainly time to get my gluteus maximus more exercise by doing some squats and lunges! EEK!!!!!! I have definite booty envy and wish I had a badunk but I wasnt blessed with that and am ok with it on most days. Ohhhhh but to have a nice one would be divine (but not a flabby, messy one) lol….
well…Back to the fashion: For the first time ever, I am doing a blog post from my phone and the blogger app and its surprisingly very easy! Today I chose to wear a houndstooth blazer from Britches of Georgetowne and my trusty (and comfy!) flat riding boots! I feel so ME in this outfit because these are all some of my fave staple pieces and there is nothing wrong with that.
well…Back to the fashion: For the first time ever, I am doing a blog post from my phone and the blogger app and its surprisingly very easy! Today I chose to wear a houndstooth blazer from Britches of Georgetowne and my trusty (and comfy!) flat riding boots! Such a cute look! I wish it was feeling more fall like down here. That blazer is super cute!! I love taking time to dance in the mirror with my favorite music playing; it’s indeed a spirit lifter.
