This past week, I was invited over to Westfield Annapolis to view their newest installation as part of their partnership with Variety Magazine and various amazing actors. This was my first time ever at this center and I was really pleased by the amount of stores, the different variety (hello AWESOME candy shop) and the overall ambiance! But this post is not about how much I enjoyed shopping at Westfield Annapolis but on the Actors on Actors series. Actors on Actors is a series of exclusive one-on-one conversations with top talent discussing their craft, their films and their careers. From Will Smith to Benicio del Toro, these videos give you a great insight into the people behind some of your favorite movies.
To celebrate Awards Season this year, Westfield partnered with Variety to bring the hottest red carpet looks to their centers around the US. What this means is that top Westfield retailers like Macys, Nordstrom, and Lord and Taylor curated some amazing celebrity looks so shoppers could look like a celebrity without spending like a celebrity! As you all know I love a great outfit but I never want to spend and arm and a leg for one so I love the idea of Variety, Westfield and the retailers getting together to do this. So on top of the candid interviews, these actors put together some great looks for us to shop from!
Nordstrom is probably my absolute favorite department store of all time- well the one that I can afford the most out of and I was pretty geeked that they were involved. They spotlighted looks from Rooney Mara, Michael Keaton (original Batman!) and Seth Rogan. Nordstrom worked with one my favorite actresses, Kate Winslet and I adore the black suit with the cropped trousers! So perfect for Spring!!!
The installation is located right outside of Macy’s in a brightly lit area near the fountain at Westfield Annapolis. So many people stopped by to take a look and see what all the commotion was about and I even overheard a lady declare “Honey let’s go to Macy’s, I like that outfit!”
For those in the area, take some time to visit Westfield Annapolis to not only check out the installation but also go to Nordstrom (cause its awesome and they have top notch customer service), Macy’s (because they have majorly great sales right now) and Lord & Taylor (because their dress section is to die for).
